My name is Ibemere Zion Chichetam.
I am thirty-five years old. Thirteen years ago, I was in a fatal car accident that damaged my spinal cord at the cervical level. Fortunately, I still have some use of my hands.
For over ten years, I was bedridden. I had no wheelchair to enable me to be mobile. I was rejected by society. I spent my time reading and studying to learn computer literacy and skills. Then after more than a decade stuck inside my room, some good hearted people helped me. I received a wheelchair and the opportunity to start my computer business.
I know that I have a great mindset and despite having a disability, it will not affect my ability to achieve greater things in life. There are so many people living with disabilities who have achieved great things in life. I want to be one of them.
My business will help me live independently in life, get married and start a family of my own. As it grows, I will employ more people and allow them to earn a living too.
